Accessibility
We’ve created our website so it can be used by as many people as possible. We hope you find it convenient and straightforward to use. Our ReadSpeaker feature, at the top left hand side of each page can read text to you, translate and changes text size and colour.
If it’s helpful, we also recommend using the BBC’s My Web My Way http://www.bbc.co.uk/accessibility/ it’s a great source of practical information and help to make your computer and the internet easier to use.
If you have any issues using any part of this site please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
Web Standards
This website has been designed in line with recent WCAG guidelines, aiming to meet all level AA checkpoints, at a minimum.
A central aspect of the accessibility guidelines is compliance with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) web standards. This site is written in valid HTML5 and CSS.
This standards-compliance makes it easier for assistive technologies, such as screen readers, to interpret the content of the site.
